Hatchery overall performance, costs, as well as individual machine performance, are also tracked. The main components of the data are eggs received, eggs classified, eggs transferred, eggs set, chicks hatched, and chicks delivered. Hatchery Data: Hatching equipment inventory and capacity. Delivered eggs. Reclassified eggs. Eggs set, sold, sent to other hatcheries. Quality control data (i.e. fertility, embryo mortality, exploded). Inventory of hatch eggs. Hatching results (infertile, no hatch and culled). Chicks delivered and farm conditions. Temperature and humidity data. Cost Data: Egg cost. Vaccination cost. Packaging and delivery cost. Cost of culled eggs. Fixed costs. Other indirect cost. Production Indices: % Infertile eggs. Text Box: Text Box: Breeder and Pullet Modules: These applications track performance and cost data of pullet, grandparent and parent breeder flocks. All breeds are supported including broilers, layers, turkeys, and ducks. The main components of the data are farm, house, flock and daily and weekly transactions. The objective of these modules is real-time monitoring of all production activities. Irregular transactions are stored with their original dates and values and further analysis is conducted by compilation of weekly and monthly periods, as well as by grouping and filtering information of multiple fields. Flock Data: Females and males housed, mortality, eliminated and current inventory. Body weight, CV, and uniformity. Weekly hen-days and cumulative hen-days. Weekly and cumulative total eggs produced. Non-hatching eggs (i.e. broken, culled, irregulars, floor, and nest eggs). Hatching eggs produced. Eggs set and number of chicks hatched (from the hatchery module). Weekly and cumulative feed consumed and type of feed. Feed nutritional data (from Formulation system). Vaccination schedules and antibody ELISA titers of various infectious diseases. Cost Data: Chick, feed, medication. Flock / Farm related direct cost. Pullet amortization cost. Other indirect costs can be assigned by the user (or accounting system) or can be prorated by our cost distribution application. Flock and farm related direct cost can be broken up into components set by the user. Production indices: % Mortality female and male. Peak production % and age. % hen-day egg production. % hen-housed egg production. % hatching eggs. % reclassified eggs (at hatchery).
