Herd / Farm related direct cost. Feed amortization cost. Other indirect costs can be assigned by the user (or accounting system) or can be prorated by our cost distribution application. Herd and farm related direct cost can be broken up into components set by the user. Production indices: Number of maiden gilts. Number of served gilts. Number of lactating sows. Number of weaned sows. Number of served sows. Average female inventory. % sows removed. % sows served. % sows served with known results. Hog Growing Modules: These modules track herd performance and cost data. The main components of the data are farm, house, herd and daily and weekly transactions.
